I never had a siberia v1 so no clue. I wanted to buy the pink one too slide but people would ask too many questions, so went for a green one Smile
If anyone knows a good mouse, for like 50-60 euro, I need a new one Smile 5 mouse buttons pls ^^

I'd say go for a MX518 from Logitech or buy G400. I've had my MX518 for 2-4 years now and still works like new ^^

To the people considering buying new hardware: you should  get quality gear.
That way you won't have to spend money as often. It's really not worth the trouble to shop around for new equipment as often, and you won't be saving that much anyways. Also, 1 year definitely isn't a reasonable lifespan for any product.

My setup is as follows
Displays: Asus VE247H, VG248QE, Samsung UE40F6400
Mouse:Steelseries Sensei
Mousepad: Razer Manticor
Keyboard: Razer Deathstalker
Headset: Steelseries Siberia V2
Headphones: Sennheiser Momentum
Speakers: Logitech Z323

I might be getting a new set of speakers, but university dorms don't exactly make it a solid purchase. A mechanical keyboard might be a reasonable change in the setup.

I buy cheap wireless mouses for 15 euros in my local supermarket and on average use them for about 1.5-2 years. Your argument is invalid. Very Happy

Actually it's perfectly valid. You're not buying "gaming" products. Just adding that word probably adds to the price.

The price doesn't really matter, but people often buy things for the wrong reasons. If you want a good product that has a longer lifespan and that you'll actually enjoy using, odds are it's going to cost more than 15e,but if you just want a mouse for your computer, then it doesn't really matter what you choose to buy. When I shop for those I look at things like palm size, button placement, reliability and so on.

Just for comparison: my Razer Lachesis lasted well over 4 years. Expecting at least the same from the current one.

The difference here is that I'm an enthusiast. (Read:I pay more money for overpriced products)

I have same mouse atm. I bought it when it came to market. Now I am thinking bying new mouse, because the grip/coat is elapsing/get worn out (I dont know how to say it...). I just dont know which mouse to buy, because I love this one and maybe I would like to spend little less money this time. Something like 30-50€ and I need also new headset. Was thinking Steelseries Siberia V2.

Any suggestions for new headset + mouse?

well, i got my mouse (trust gxt 25) for just 18€. it was really cheap imo and iam really satisfied with it at the moment. maybe u should consider to buy the same mouse again?
I could also recommend the RAT series.RAT 3 and 5 should be in your budget RAT 7 is for rich kids.
There you go:
http://www.amazon.de/Mad-Catz-R-A-T-3-Gaming-3500dpi/dp/B00965WK8K

and the RAT 5 Looks pretty similar.
http://www.amazon.de/Mad-Catz-R-A-T-5-Gaming-5600dpi/dp/B0098W4ZD4

As you can see the main difference is the amount of dpi (3500 and 5600)

P.s if you are a rich kid or just want to have a look:
http://www.amazon.de/Mad-Catz-R-A-T-Gaming-Maus/dp/B0095D1CM8

In my opinion the mouse is really good for gaming. The only disadvantage i see is the mousewheel..its pretty shit for me but yeah its your decision.

Headset: I'd defenetly go with siberia v2. Everyone i asked for a headset-recommendation said that it isnt a waste of Money.. ask Tim Very Happy
p.s iam getting mine at Christmas Smile

The Siberia V2 is definitely a solid purchase. The first time I started to have problems with them was when I purchased the Sennheiser Momentums this Summer. The difference just isn't up for debate there.. Still, they get the job done.

I haven't really heard of many headsets with similar performance in that price range.

You might want to check out the Kingston HyperX Cloud -headset though. I've heard it's excellent.

As for a mouse, well.. That depends on the price as well, but I'd go for either Razer or Steelseries on that department at the moment, they have multiple devices with onboard-memory for macros and such. Logitech and Roccat surely get the job done as well, but I've always found them kind of clunky. (Roccat mice are tiny, Logitech goes overboard with macros)

The Razer Naga is a good choice if you play macro-intensive games, though I don't find it that useful for mobas.

Also, regarding the earlier RGB-keyboard video. Razer's chroma-lineup syncs.. So you can have a pulse go through your keyboard, mouse and headset. I found that pretty funny.

Steer clear of Mad Catz products. You've been warned.

Siberia V2 is an amazing headset, as long as you treat it with care. It seems pretty fragile so when I rage I try to to throw something else than my headset.

EDIT: I'm not sure about its price in Finland, but as a mouse I've got Razer Imperator; It isn't too fancy, it has 5 buttons + 2 sensitivity buttons. I've had it for almost 2 years and it has served me well.

I will get Steelseries Siberia V2.

About the mouse. I dont need that many buttons. I dont need macros. I play mostly fps or mobas games. I like Lachesis high dpi on fps games, then again I can manage to play fps games with lower dpi. Thanks for you answer. I will try to play few weeks with this mouse and think what to choose. I am still open for other suggestions, if you have any.
