So, apparently some people still don't know how to properly connect to a war/any server. So for those, here is a small guide with helpful pictures!

First, you copy the ip, like this

Secondly, you open cod4 & your console by pressing the ² (or whatever you use for it) and delete the ² with your backspace (my god so much details)

And thirdly, you press CTRL+V and then enter!

Hope this helps :p
No hating on the guide, might be useful for some people and I did spend an entire 3 mins on it!

Tim

For those of you who didn't click on the image to make it bigger, or who can't see past the right click menu...  The format of the command is "/connect [IPADDRESSHERE] ; password [PASSWORDHERE]".

Also note, you don't need the / when entering it from the main menu. There's a semi-colon between the IP address and "password". Finally, for those who really can't figure this out... You do not put the brackets or actually type IPADDRESSHERE or PASSWORDHERE.

Default key, as far as I can tell is for everyone, is the key to the left of "1" and above TAB. Looks like this if you press it without shift "`" and like this if you press it while holding shift "¬".

And if you really can't figure this out...  #---{X_X)-----¬

Don't look anything like those... Wihtout "§" with shift "½" Laughing

The key is same, but what symbols the key does, depends where you live or language you use (what language you use as your pc language...) and what keyboard you use (keyboard layout: US, FIN/SWE, Fennoskandia etc.).

Right, thanks for that.
